Elopement Above The Clouds

2020 was a tough year for many and this gorgeous couple sadly had their wedding in the UK cancelled twice.  After spending many holidays in Tenerife the island had become special to them. So at the end of 2020 they decided to beat the restrictions and elope in Tenerife. As it was just before Christmas they stayed in the beautiful La laguna Gran hotel, a hotel full of history and the owner of the prettiest Christmas tree in Tenerife! Just like a normal wedding day we started the day we me capturing all of their elopement morning preparations in this beautiful hotel. We then headed into the mountains and to the forest for an emotional elopement ceremony, with the couple preparing their own vows to each other. We finished the day in Teide national park, the highest point in all Spanish territoy. Catching the sunset above the clouds was the perfect backdrop for their elopement pictures and the most special way for them to finish their day.
